The NMDC (National Mineral Development Corporation) Limited is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.It is involved in the exploration of iron ore, copper, rock phosphate,  limestone,  dolomite,  gypsum,  bentonite, magnesite, diamond, tin, tungsten, graphite etc. It is India’s largest iron ore producer and exporter producing about 30 million tons of iron ore from 3 fully mechanized mines in Chhattisgarh and Karnataka. It also operates the only mechanised diamond mine in the country at Panna in Madhya Pradesh. NMDC is now recruiting freshers and experienced for various positions like junior manager and junior officer with the required educational criteria to fill the positions available and this post provides the information regarding the eligibility criteria and apply before 12th February 2018.

Educational Qualifications:

Junior Manager:

Mining & Survey:

* Must have completed Degree or Three Years Diploma in Mining or Mines & Mine Surveying and Mine Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency under MMR from a recognised university.

* Having Minimum 02 years experience in Opencast Metal Mines as Surveyor using surveying systems like Digital levels, Theodolites, Total Station etc.

* Should have an aggregate of 55% through out academics.

G & QC:

* Must have completed M.Sc(Tech.)/M.Tech in Geology/Applied Geology from a recognized University.

* Should have an aggregate of 60% through out academics.

* Having minimum experience of 2 years in the areas of geological mapping, sampling, exploratory drilling. Logging, preparation of cross sections & slice plans, Estimation of grade and tonnage of iron ore/diamond /gold/base metals/manganese/chromite/tungsten.

C & IT:

* Must have completed MCA or BE/B.Tech (Computer/CS/IT) or Degree in Engineering + PG Diploma in Computer Application Programming/ Computer Mgt./Systems Management from a recognized University

* Having Post qualification experience of 2 years as given below in any one of the functional areas of

(i) Network & Infrastructure

(ii) Database/System Administration (iii) Software.

Junior Officer:

* Must have completed Graduation or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mining from a recognised university

* Should have an aggregate of 60% through out academics.

Note: Diploma holders must be having five years of experience in respective fields.

G & QC:

* Must have completed M.Sc/M.Sc(Tech)/M.Tech in Geology/Applied Geology/Exploration Geology from a recognized University/Institute.

* Having One year Post qualification experience in Geological mapping, Sampling, Mining or related industry will be an added advantage.

Pay Scale:

Junior Manager:

Will be given a minimum basic pay scale of Rs 50,000-1,60,000/- Per Month

Junior Officer:

Will be given a minimum basic pay scale of Rs 37,000-1,30,000/- Per Month

Age Limit:

Junior Manager:

* Must not have maximum age limit more than 45 Years as on 01-01-2018 and age relaxation is applicable as per government policy.

Junior Officer:

* Must not have maximum age limit more than 35 Years as on 01-01-2018 and age relaxation is applicable as per government policy.

Selection Process:

* For Junior Manager, the selection process is based on written test (70 marks) and Interview/GD or both (30 marks).

* For Junior Officer, the selection process is based on written test (100 marks) and Supervisory Skill Test (Qualifying in nature).

* Question paper booklet for Written Test will be in Hindi & English which consists of objective type multiple choice questions.

* For answering the questions Optical Mark Reader/Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet will be provided or any other mode as decided by NMDC Ltd.

Note:

There will be Supervisory Skill Test for Junior Officer post which is qualifying in nature.
