PowerGrid is termed as Power Grid Corporation Of India Limited  is an Indian state-owned electric utilities company headquartered in Gurgaon, India. PowerGrid transmits about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network. Its subsidiary company, Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO) handles power management for Power Grid. Power Grid is recruiting now freshers as Diploma trainee and Junior Officer Trainee with the vacancies available in the organization and this post provides the information regarding the vacancies available for the positions and educational qualification required for the positions available and check for the eligibility criteria and apply before 27th February 2018.

Job Criteria:

List Of Vacancies: 28

Diploma Trainee – 25

* Electrical – 20

* Civil – 05

Junior Officer Trainee – 03

Educational Qualifications:

Diploma Trainee:

* Must have completed Diploma in respective disciplines of Electrical or Civil or its equivalent from a recognised university.

* Should have an aggregate of 70%  through out academics.

Junior Officer Trainee:

* Must have completed Two year full time Post Graduate Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ MBA in Human Resource/Personnel Management/ Industrial Relation/ MSW or equivalent from recognized Institute.

* Should have an aggregate of 60% through out academics.

Pay Scale:

Will be given a minimum basic pay scale of Rs 16,500/- Per Month

Age Limit:

Must have minimum age limit of 18 Years and maximum age limit of 27 Years as on 27-02-2018 and age relaxation is applicable as per government policy

Selection Process:

Diploma Trainee:

* Selection Test

Junior Officer Trainee:

* Selection Test

* Computer Skill Test

Mode Of Selection Test:

* Selection Test shall be of Objective Type of two hours duration consisting of two parts

* Part-I consists of Professional Knowledge Test with 120 questions having specific questions of respective discipline.

* Part-II consists of Supervisory Aptitude Test with 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, ability to determine data sufficiency, interpretation of graphs/charts/tables, numerical ability etc.

* All questions carry equal marks. Wrong and multiple answers would result in negative marks of 1/4.

Note: Selection test is common for both the positions.

Mode Of Computer Test:

* The Computer Skill Test to be conducted for the post of Jr. Officer Trainee (HR) is qualifying in nature and carries no weightage in the final merit.

* Final merit for selection for the subject posts shall be decided based on marks scored by the candidates in Selection Test (with 100%weightage).

* The applicants will have the option to appear for Selection Test in Hindi language also.

* For All Candidates Application Fee is Rs 300/-
